100 Happy Days: Days 8-14

Here are my posts from last week's 100 Happy Days!

Day 8:

I don't have cable, so getting to watch one of my favorite TV shows The Big Bang Theory was exciting!

Day 9:

I finally got my bathroom put together the way I wanted it.

Day 10:

I got the tulle I need to make my tutu for Charlotte's Electric Run I'm doing in August!
Tutorial coming soon!

Day 11:

I started my journey into a Paleo/whole30 diet.
I may need to do a few rounds to get it right!

Day 12:

My mom and I spent a lovely day at the pool.

Day 13:

My fur child is precious :)

Day 14:

Thankful for a gorgeous day at Isle of Palms!

What I Wore for the Fourth of July

Since I've still been unpacking from my move,

I didn't dress up much this week.

But I did get a picture of what I wore for the Fourth of July!

My sister and I went down to Riverfront park in Charleston and spent the day.

We had lunch, listened to the bands perform, and watched the firework show.

100 Happy Days: Days 1-7

As part of my journey to finding happiness, I decided to take on the 100 Happy Days Challenge on Instagram.
I want to be able to find at least one thing in every day that makes me happy.

Here's what made me happy this week:

Day 1:

One week ago, I moved in with my sister. (You can read why in my About page.)
This is the view from my new bedroom window!
Absolutely gorgeous!

Day 2:

I got a chance to sit by the pool a bit this day.
No one was around, and it was pure relaxation!

Day 3:

After going through an interview process for a job doing massage therapy,
I treated myself to a Cherry Limeade from Sonic, which is one of my favorite drinks.

Day 4:

I finally got my blog up an running!

Day 5:

My mom was finally home from a 12 day long mission trip to Tanzania, Africa.
I missed her so much!

Day 6:

I had a great time celebrating the Fourth of July with my sister!

Day 7:

My sister and I cooked dinner for our family.

Lots of things that brought me happiness this week!

Sunday Social

It's Sunday FUNday!

I hope everyone had a great Fourth of July weekend!
I had a great time enjoying the festivities around Charleston with my sister.

1. Favorite Genre of music?

I normally listen to whatever is on the 'hits' station in my car, which is mostly considered pop music I guess.
But I also really like rock and country music too!

2. Favorite Genre of movies?

Definitely comedy.  
I'll take a good laugh over crying my eyes out, being on the edge of my seat, or being scared to death any day!

3. Do you watch Reality TV? If so, what was the first show you remember watching?

Sad, but true!!
For some reason, I cannot get enough of watching the train wreck happen over and over again.
Call it my guilty pleasure!

The first reality TV show I remember watching was Laguna Beach!

It's all been downhill after that ;)

4. Actress you’d want to be BFF’s with?

Rachel McAdams!
I think she's wonderful!

5. Actor you’d be happy to be stuck on an island with?

Hands down, Leonardo DiCaprio.

But seriously... Can you blame me?!
